Zagreb (Croatia)
Zagreb |
The capital of Croatia is Zagreb. Although Zagreb is Croatia's biggest city, it has a population of around 1 million and looks like a quiet city.
The whole city is made up of large stone buildings and wide roads. You can also find the urbanization in the former USSR cities exactly. The only bad thing is that it's a bit gloomy. Blackened large stone buildings can drown people a bit. The general structure of the shops in the streets is old and small. The restaurants and pubs in the city center are out of Bogoviceva street, and most of the shops in the general are old and outdated. Unfortunately, it is not possible to say that life is very lively.

The historic structures of Zagreb are generally gathered together. You can travel and spend time without too much transportation. In the city center, there is a statue of Ban Jelacic on the horse. This person is a hero to the Croats because he is the person who protects the city from Ottoman attacks. This is why you can see the sculpture from the very heart of the city. But I have to say that the building behind it was the ad of huge THY and Beko. Here comes the money in front of everything. Apart from these, I can recommend you to visit the King Tomislav Square and the Croatian National Theater.
Just outside the city is Bundek park and lake district. It consists of a lake surrounded by a sandy beach and a large green area. In the summer months, the rest of the people come here, enter the lake and do a picnic and other activities around. There are many bars and restaurants around the lake where you can sit and spend time. By the way, the lake is so cloudy and not bad that I can enter. If the season you are going for is appropriate, I suggest you take your bite. You can spend a day relaxing in Zagreb.

Apart from that, prices and life are more convenient than us. So you can spend your vacation without spending too much money. Markets can also find Turkish products such as biscuits, wafers, etc.

The Croatian people have a calm and charitable structure. You can easily find the place you want because the city is not too big anyway. You can supply the necessary information and equipment from Tourist Info there is the sculpture I already mentioned above. Zagreb is a high city with stone buildings and green level. The number of parks and green areas is high. Within each block, you can find small, large parks. Anyway, most of the people in the summer spend their lives there.

When it comes to food, unfortunately, it is not possible to talk positively. Poğaça, cakes are not much choice in the morning so you can not find a different taste in the evening meals.
If you are a hostel, I can recommend Oldtown Zagreb as a place to stay. It could be a nice accommodation option with a central location, price, and cleanliness.
The airport in Zagreb is old and small enough to be a suicide suit. The fact that a city's capital possesses an airport like this, does not make you think badly about the city. I do not think that too many tourists come, because the airport in Dubrovnik is both more developed and larger.
Finally, if you do not say commentary, you can actually write between cities that might even be visited. It is a mediocre city in many respects Zagreb. If your time is limited, there is no need to go. But even if you think like me and you think that no country can be seen as a capital city, 2 days will be enough for your holiday plan.
