Brugge (Belgium) - We came to the movie set ???
The appearance of Brugge from the bell |
During my visit to my cousin who lived in Brussels, I found myself on the Brussels-Brüj train as a result of my wife's successful marketing. To tell you the truth, I am generally grateful to her suggestions and I was curious to decide to go, but it was a bit difficult to give 30 euros for a 1:30 hour train journey. If you miss a train, you do not have to be too bored because there is a train on average 20 minutes from Brussels to Bruges. You can think of all the trains like you because the tickets you get are based on days rather than voyages. If you want to get to Bruges, you can go down to Genk and go to the city and get on a train that you want afterwards. We thought of our route as Brug, considering that our time was a bit limited and there was not too much in Genk too.
At the end of the train journey which took 1 hour and 30 minutes, we got off at Bruges station and started to walk to the city center. After about a 15-minute walk we entered one side of the city. When I first entered the city, it was the authentic texture and historical architecture I felt. The city has never changed from architecture to renovation and has never lost its texture. If you like to stay true to me like I am, and if historic décor is attracting you, I guess you will be impressed.
Even when you are walking the streets of the city, you can feel yourself in a film studio or 100-150 years ago, and you can easily get yourself into the atmosphere. For this you have to leave the map to the side you want to do and just look around the streets and the buildings and enjoy the moment.

The first time we entered the City of, the first confrontation was '' The Church of Our Lady ''. I can summarize with the historical details of one of the churches you can easily find in every city of Europe without strangling you. The highlight of the church is that Michelangelo's "Madonna and the Sculpture of the Child" are in the church. But right if you want to see this artifact, you have to go into the part where the church is split with screens and money trapped. After we left the church we entered the 'Sint-Janshospitaal' which is in front of us and is one of the oldest hospitals in Europe but still used as a museum. The entrance is 7 euros and I must say it is a complete disappointment. There is a serious difference between being marketed outside and inside. I can not recommend it for this reason. We met with great enthusiasm for old hospital equipments and medieval tablets while waiting to see the goods of that time, as well as content that was in modern style. We already found ourselves outside by completing very shortly because the inside is small. I think we would have had a happier and more satisfying time if we had coffee and coffee in a nice cafe.

Looking around and looking through the channels we found ourselves in the square where the Brugge Bell tower was. We decided to enter the queue thinking that the sequence was not too long. But the unpleasant surprise began to show itself as time went on. Although we could have 50-70 people in the future, we could go up by waiting 1 hour 40 minutes cold. Because the system works like this. As many people as you can get in. When the turnstile returns, the turnstile is active. If you are a crowded group, forget to go out together already. I should already say it's hard to get up. The landscape has a beautiful view and you can see the entire city. But remember, the stairs are narrow and steep. I do not think anyone can come out easily. When you decide to go out, do not forget it. Entrance fee is 10 Euro, you can also pay by card.

I end up waiting so long and I am on my way to the beer shop, which is next to the owner. I do not remember seeing so many different beers together. Here you can find very different beer varieties and brands as well as very nice gift packages.
Unfortunately due to weather opposition, we can not travel with the engine on the canal. But I suggest you do it. Generally I do not like to see canals in the city very much and I do not find it very meaningful, but you can try here.
Finally, the city's cathedral "St. We find ourselves in Salvator's Cathedral. In the near future it has a more intimate design because it is a penny. The lighting is beautiful and the cathedral is a nice and elegant one, because the details are revealed from the other side. Although it is not very big, it has an impressive atmosphere.

There are beautiful waffles, pastries and cafés in the city. You can stop by and taste your day, or you can have a nice meal at the restaurant where there are many different cuisines. |
Do not forget that there are lots of boutique chocolates in the city. As you walk through the city you will lose a lot of effort and energy, but it has to be recovered in some way. Is not it?
By the end of the day Brugge will give you a proven and happy journey to the train. Do not be surprised if you find yourself thinking that you will come to this city again for rest and peace just after a weekend when the train is back at the end of the day. You mean you are from us.
