Gaziantep - Center of the East

I go to Gaziantep many times, but I do not know what to do, some of them say "Paris of the East" went to Gaziantep in April. It would be good for us to have a weekend escape. I must also say that the special discount campaign of Anadolujet is also a driving force.

Once I got the tickets, I decided to check out the hotels and their suitability by opening the booking.com classically after I decided on the date. We usually try to choose authentic and boutique hotels where we go. I think that it is possible to enter the city texture and the atmosphere more comfortably. It was up to me to be a surprise organization. In general, our travels take care of such details with my girlfriend's excellent rigor, and as a result of his actions, work is at the point of decision.
As a result of a detailed research, I decided to stay at Anadolu Evleri. It has an authentic structure with architecture that resembles a masonry, both in the center and in stone.

Once you've got the reservations and tickets you need, it's time to head out.

We got to Gaziantep around 10:30 am after the morning flight I took to lose the day. Following the indications, our transport options were a taxi and Havaş shuttle services like in every Anatolian city. After the reservation, I try to learn the place in detail with the hotel and I am beside Imam Çağdaş. I mentioned the obvious address Imam Çağdaş'ın besides whom you ask whom to tell you will bring telling and stopped. I could not make out much at that time, but I understood why I was there. Because almost everyone in the city, Imam Cagdas as a center while taking the road. We got into the vehicle of Havaş and set out.

Along the way to the center, I can say that the view is not nice at all. Irregular urbanization cannot be said to have made you very cheerful when the added texture of the region's brown is added to the surplus of the remaining buildings. In general, many municipal roads to the city center are not very tidy, but I was expecting more than the biggest city of our eastern region like Gaziantep and unfortunately I was disappointed. At the end of a journey of about 45 minutes, the car drove us in front of the old courthouse. We walked 20-25 minutes from our indoors place to our hotel, pardon Imam Çağdaş. As we have said, we came to our hotel here. "As we thought, our hotel is a stone house with a large courtyard. I was supposed to say it was super, right now, we started our vacation in a dismal way because of the flawed reception. I had made the reservation 1.5 months in advance and chose our room according to him, but the hotel authority changed it according to his head and the room he offered us was a glassless room on the roof floor. I was able to get a room very close to him, even if it was not the result of the little verbal debate we had. But unfortunately, we would have to stay in different rooms in the two nights we stayed because of the gaps in the organization. As I learned later, we were given a couple to stay in our room for four nights. Anyway, at least the structure of the hotel was very beautiful in texture and design. It has a structure that really embraces you. After this tension, we had to go to a classic city map, eat and visit places and listen to the people of the area (we already did our own research but it is always beneficial to get detailed information from the people of the region)

We went out to eat Zeki Usta's Katmer, which is located in a place that can be easily found in the middle street of the city center (you can follow the crowd without knowing exactly where you want to go) to do traditional Gaziantep breakfast. When we arrived at Zeki Usta, we learned that it worked only until 12.30 and then it closed, so, fortunately, we arrived on time. The place was made up of small chairs and tables that covered the entire street in front of a small shop. It depends on your ability to find a table. It would not be right to have a clear lineup. We were able to use our unique ability to grab seats in metro buses and subways of Istanbul to find a table without losing much time and give it immediately. Approximately 3-4 minutes later our folds came warmly. Even now, when I write, I can say that my mouth is watering. I ordered two and I was in the midst of being greedy and I was anxious to order another one. I ate 2,5 folds in the result, but I seriously forced even me. For those who are unfamiliar, there may be a little heavy meal in the morning breakfast. Already in the middle of the waiters are serving tea and cold milk service. I prefer tea when I am a tea lover, but I recommend milk to those who do. When we were one step away from the stomach, we started walking to burn calories (which we can neither walk nor burn) from the table. In the meantime, I would like to state that the prices are normal.

Our first goal was Antep Castle and its surroundings, but unfortunately, we were not able to tour because the castle and the museum were in renovations. We have started to visit this mosque and museum around with our disappointment. I will not tell you about the mosques in the district, but in general, I would like to say. The mosques have a different minaret structure. They did not observe any traces of bullets from the survivors' war. This drink really made me crazy, because in some places a texture that resembled a very elephant from the wall emerged. My most favorite was going to the Omariye Mosque. I guess it is both the oldest mosque and the splendid, although it is in between. We had the opportunity to visit the city's alleys while touring the mosques and the mosques, and especially the restored areas, the streets were really beautiful. In the streets of the narrow stone people almost want to disappear.

I suggest you take a look at the nearby Medusa Glass Museum and see different and different objects. I think it needs to be further developed. Do not stick to "Cam" in your name. It's a mixed museum. In order to breathe after our trip on the museum, we decided to go to the Historical Village House and drink the famous Menengic Jam. I can not say that I like menengic kebab, at least my mouth taste is not suitable. I could not find a different flavor from putting Turkish coffee into the house at home. Historical Rural Kahvesi has lost its historical texture and old traces as a result of the last restoration, unfortunately, it has been transformed into an ordinary and simple place. I can say that when is restoring the place, it is a complete fiasco with just one point on the historical fountain in front of it.

After wandering around under the sun, we took ourselves to the hotel with sleep insomnia in the early morning rising and got to rest until the evening. On my surprise trip, my girlfriend made a reservation for Bayazhan which is said to be the best venue in Gaziantep and organized a nice night for us.

I also want to talk a little bit about Bayazhan. There are a large stone building and courtyard in the middle. One side of the building is a charming tavern furnished in an authentic style, a restaurant furnished in a modern style on the one hand, and a nice place with a concept that you can have tea and coffee in a tea garden in the central courtyard area. Our reservation was by the tavern. If you want to go you have to book at least 1 day in advance or you will not be able to find a place. The decor and music of the place were really good, but the main problem is the quality of service and food. I can easily say that the quality of service sucks. I ordered the contents of the meals, they gave the wrong information and brought the wrong food, and the one they brought a burn. If you do not say whatever you want three times, there's no way. The food was bad, but if the bananas were good, I would have one to hold it, but where. Besides, the inside was so hot from the crowd that my girlfriend asked the waitress to open a few windows. We both had difficulty in perceiving the response we received as a response; '' If you sweat so much, come out and get some air, '' he said. It took us a while to perceive this, but it was easier to write a mention from Twitter until we found the waitress once more and explained the situation. Thank goodness we opened the window as we found the waitress once again. I do not know whether I wrote it or not, but he was even tortured. As a result, we tried to have fun without breaking our neck. But when it comes to the account, we have completed the night with a complete revelation of catering accounts, billing, etc. In general, I would like you to know that in terms of service, do not expect to leave qualifications anywhere in Gaziantep. You will see the rest of the article in the best places amongst the streets that have been catered for in the service sense is not even mediocre.

The next day after breakfast at our hotel we went out to see the world famous Zeugma museum we were very curious about. You can reach the center by regular bus but it costs you 4 TL. I would recommend a taxi cab instead because the taxi costs $ 10 and you have a very serious gain in terms of time.

The museum is a nice big building on the silk road side of the city. Tickets were affordable but I can not remember the price because we did not get it. Let the business card's museum card feature right. Before the trip to the museum give 3 TL and we recommend you to watch the 3D presentation in 10 minutes. It is an introductory film that you can find answers to very high quality and many problems. Like many promotional films, it is not boring, it is a kind of film that you will almost finish. I do not think about telling the museum. I just have to say, everybody has to see at least once. By taking you to the beginning of history, you can be confident that you will question how we came from.

For lunch, Imam Çağdaş, who was called as the center in the directions mentioned in the name constantly, was ordered to eat and dessert orders from Istanbul. It's so common now that they want to eat everything from every single thing, so they do not even need to order it. The lahmacuns and buttermilk are indeed very beautiful, but I can not say that the food and the sweets are as beautiful as they are grown. It is not in the taste of "I'll have to eat another one" that will never be found. I do not find myself guilty because we are in this idea. For this reason, I leave you with the inferences from the photographs by not lengthening the eating chapter.

After so much food, we need to drink coffee and we went to the Historical Customs House just 100 meters away to drink the Ottoman famous double color Dibek coffee. Here is the coffee. This is exactly the meaning of the taste on my face. In many places, I have had coffee and coffee as an additive, after Bursa Kozahan, taste coffee on my dick. The presentation, the image and the taste were really beautiful. If you are wondering how they are doing the double color, keep wondering because they do not take anyone in the place where the cup is made.

After drinking our coffee went to see the city museum next to the Bayazhan. From the time of the war of liberation of Gaziantep, it is a small but beautiful museum where you can learn everything from crafts to the industry in detail. Entrance fee is 1 TL and voice narration support is also available.'s
Antepbedestenleri The bazaars do not need to tell the inns very much in detail. But if you like copper, I can call it a paradise for you. You can find everything related to copper. I guess this is "no-no". I have not been able to find a pistachio as I would have expected from my frustrations. I traveled around but I could not find the flavor I had in Istanbul. It made me a little sad, but I will share things with you in the last paragraph of my writing.

I will also tell Gaziantep about the nightlife. In general Konsept folk bar, Haley and pavilion shaped. There are Old English Pubs and similar spaces but it is numbered.

In the last day, I had a hard time drinking Beyran, which we could not find two days. It is unfortunately not possible to find it anywhere after 12.00 o'clock in the morning for breakfast. Beuran is rich in oil, lamb, rice and plenty of pain. After we learned that the fortune-telling was the place that made Beyran the best place, we started looking for the restaurant. After a little search, we found Metanet on the streets, but the soup ended at 12.00. I had a sadness full of intense insights that I could hardly find anywhere else. They say it's not like ours, do not drink from anywhere else. But I say that I have to drink the last day, they say it is past. Fortunately, they forced us to give a little bit of our taste by saying close to our taste. We found the place 300 meters ahead of Metanet and ordered it immediately. Approximately 5 minutes later, a full flavor packed on the copper plate. It's a very nice flavor for someone who is bitter and meaty like me, but a lot of people may come to heavy, in the morning. I would have been very angry without even trying.

Beyran Soup
After this heavy meal, we went to the Kendirli Church, which was the last church standing on foot for indigestion but turned into a meeting center, not a church. You can see the bullet traces on him like he was in the cams. When you enter into a very magnificent and beautiful appearance from the outside, you are again faced with a frustration. To turn it into the meeting area, all the tissue was corrupted. Needless curtains, ridiculous arrangements, and a lost date. I was officially painful and I could not even take a photo. After this bad view, we toured the wood mosque made of the minarets of the monastery and corrected some of our moderates. We were finally coming to the end of our trip. We decided to leave Istanbul here all the rest of the weekend by drinking a coffee in Tahbeiz's Kahvesi where we left off. The structure of the place, the texture, the presentations are very nice, but I can not say that I like the tea and the cup as other things in the place.

We went back to our hotel during evening hours and we took our suitcases and went to the airport by taxi which the hotel had agreed to. We preferred a taxi because it was difficult to get there because the Havaş bus was bought from a distance and the taxi was close to the Havaş fare. We have also seen the region called Modern Gaziantep. The airport takes a 25-minute taxi ride, and as it is not busy, you can enter it immediately so you can plan accordingly.

I have already mentioned above what I am sorry about; Since I'm making collections, I get a magnet for my keychain and my family everywhere I go. But huge Gaziantep does not have souvenir products that are even in the smallest cities of the world. It's not a cup of coffees from a gifted person. Keychain, magnet, card postal, ashtray, booklet, t-shirt etc. what if your mind comes. Even in cities that have nothing at all, you get a lot. While there are many options such as Gaziantep, famous Zeugma, pearls, copperwork, silk road, pistachio etc., there is not a single kind of 27 '' Gaziantep Memorabilia '' written in the wooden ashtray. I can not even say shit. Their souvenir shop outside Zeugma is even mediocre. There's nothing ever related to the mosaic. The reason why I talked with 3 different trades is the same. Everyone says we know his brother but these are just made, that great trades will be at the forefront. Made a mouth-to-mouth. Very sad. No matter how much tourism is not given. There is no proper city map, there is no place to learn, no souvenirs, no one in the city knows a place, nor does anyone want to help. They do not know the biggest kulliyes what do I say more. There are many foreign and local tourists, but there is no quality of service, there is no interest and there is only copper in abundance. It is a pity indeed, when there is so much opportunity, while industrialization is so much, tourists are missing the flowing water when they come. Even cities that do not have anything right from Bratislava to Brussels and even to Almeria are trying to create a tourist atmosphere. Let's not go far away I can even say that Konya floats Gaziantep in this regard. I hope that at some point in this issue one of the hands will have their own characteristics and will not destroy the ones. Because they look good to destroy.

There are some unpleasant anecdotes that we actually live with our people, but I do not want to enter them. I just want to go over this issue by telling myself that I'm not comfortable with a lady on the street.

In short, Gaziantep is a city that I want to go to for a lot but it leads to great disappointment. I do not think I want to go again. Nevertheless, even for Zeugma, you should go at least once, but I suggest you keep your dreams high. I can say that Gaziantep is the way to go in terms of tourism.
