Moscow (Russia) - Art and Poultry

I decided to go to Moscow, but at first, I do not have a visa to Russia. After having visited many places in Europe for many years, I had the opportunity to meet a different culture.
We bought our tickets from Russia's international airline Aeroflot. The only thing left after the renewal of the passport with a price of 513 TL was to find a decent and cheap hostel to take away Moscow's taste. But of course, I could not predict the future. I will tell you these later in my article, but the first thing I want to say about Moscow before that is very different from the European cities.
After the three-hour flight and the disgusting meals of Aeroflot, we came down to Moscow against sabotage. I could not stop thinking about how the meals in Moscow would be if the Russian airlines had their meals. We were informed about how to get to the city center and generally Moscow thanks to a Turk working in Moscow who is sitting in our side seat right on the plane. It is not long before we know that this information is worth the gold, because almost no one in Moscow knows English, even in a place where people from every country like the airport are located, and there are no statements on the service except Russian. You can reach the Moscow city center from the airport in three ways. You can get your tickets with buses 815 and 815E (30 rubles) which you can get from the bus driver on the bus, train (360 rubles) which takes you directly to one of the Aeroexpress named metro stops and our minibuses (70 rubles) We recommend you to get the exit of the colored metro map written in both Latin and Cyrillic letters without your recommendation.
We arrived at the first stop on the green metro line (2nd stop) at the end of our long journey of about 45 minutes. Even though it was 6:30 in the morning, there was traffic that could compete with Istanbul. When we came to the center, as a woman, first of all, of course, the Russian women were famous for their beauties and they were from the 90s. I think that it is a society that has been under the influence of my community for a long time and that they are trying to adapt to the new external world. When it comes to beauty, I think they are not as beautiful as the Turkish standard above, but exaggerated. However, the biggest differences among Turkish women are that they are extremely female and confident. It's almost impossible to find women wearing sneakers-style shoes or plenty of sportswear.

I never give a name to a hostel that you should never and never stay at; Hostel Golyanovo. Although we had a detailed map of the hostel and metron on the first day we could find our hostel after a long search. Before coming to booking.com, etc. Although the majority of comments on the hostel are positive, we are not surprised by the fact that those who have stayed before have found their place very difficult. The only thing that surprised us was that there was no sign of the hostel, and when we looked inside, all the lights were turned off and the room seemed to be deserted! Later we learned that the electricity in the hostel was cut off by 5 days and it was not clear when to come. Of course, we could learn about this information from the hostel and a guest who speaks English because the hostel staff did not speak a word of English! I immediately booked on another hostel over the internet and pulled our suitcases down the road again. The other hostel was somewhere in the metro far away and there was no sign of it again. I can not bear it anymore and I have asked why the hostel in Moscow is not a sign for the hostel responsibility. Homeless, drunken, punk models living in Moscow have been riddled with these hostels, so they have stripped their signposts. They only accept customers booking online. People who travel for touristic purposes like us do not really need the tablets because they arrange their hotels on the internet before they go to a city. The only problem with this situation is that we are going to have to call the street hostel signposts as we are poor tourists mad made.
Anyway, when we say that our unfortunate bedevil is over, we have experienced a separate shock here. He said that our reservation desk with a cheeky English-speaking staff in the consultation did not show up and that the hostesses were completely full. Now we are starting to laugh ourselves from ourselves, who is responsible for the fact that this mistake comes from themselves (this is a very common situation in tourism in Moscow) and that we will find another hotel in the same conditions and give our tax money. After finding out that some of the hostels were full and we were losing our full hopes that we could find a hostel. On the way we thought we had found a place in the hut, the last day we went to a cafe with very nice cafes and shops when we were going to think that the place was definitely a lousy host as the place could be found and the GPS in the cabin showed us where we wanted to go. After taking so much trouble, we settled into our hostel, which is in an incredibly central location, just a 6-7 minute walk to the Red Square, a just underground station on the same street. The name of this charming hostel we stayed during our trip was Comrade Hostel. Although the common areas are not very clean, our room with the main street view was immaculate, huge and very nicely furnished. In your mind, The majority of the hotels in Moscow have shared bathrooms. The common pools are incredibly expensive without them. The hostel we had booked for the first time, we chose it because it was both affordable and private, but you read what I got there. So if you are going to Moscow, be sure to give the hotel a little more money. By the way, do not worry about booking hotels atwww.booking.com. Throughout the day, you can reach Turkish customer service by phone or mail 24/7 and solve your problem as soon as possible. I booked for the first time on a non-booking site outside of booking.com and I was really in a lot of trouble.
On the first day we started to visit Moscow, we walked out of our hotel and walked to the Red Square for 6-7 minutes. This magnificent square within the UNESCO world heritage has been the scene of many executions, demonstrations, and rallies throughout history. It is now the first stop in Moscow, where official passages, ceremonies, concerts of famous artists, film shoots, and tourists are in Moscow. Among the many countries I have wandered, the challenge that most impressed me with its splendor was the red square. Man cannot stop thinking why we do not have such spaces. In the vicinity of the square are the eastern side of the Kremlin palace, Saint Basil cathedral, Mini and Pojarski statue, State History Museum, Voskresenkie vorota, Kazan Cathedral, GUM shopping center, Mausoleum of Lenin and the Kremlin walled cemetery.

St. Vasil Cathedral |
Red square we visited Saint Basil Cathedral which became the symbol of Moscow and started our Red Square tour. The Cathedral of Saint Basil, which was built by the terrible Ivan to honor the Kazan Kagan, is different from each other, with 8 colored domes in the form of onion crust, and each dome represents a separate victory. The eyes of the architects who made the cathedral according to the Rivet are carved for not being able to create such a wonderful architectural work. I've never really come across an architecture like this before. Although the cathedral looks colorful from the outside as it is based on 1500 years of construction, the inside is rather old and gloomy. In Orthodox Russia, the architectural majority of the churches is very different from the rest of Europe, which is Catholic, and in my opinion, it is quite unbelievably beautiful from the outside, but the inside is rather gloomy and plain. Another caution is that the Orthodox should have idolized the church symbols too much. They are kissing all the saint sculptures and graves constantly, and after they leave the church they are bent over to the door. The majority of the Russians are very attached to their religion. I thought Catholics were stiffer in this regard, but my thoughts changed in Moscow after the trip. There is a Mini and Pojarski statue right in front of the cathedral. Merchants Minin and Prince Pojarski were honored to have played an important role in saving Russia from the Polish occupation.
The next day we visited Lenin's mausoleum. The mausoleum is open between 10:00 and 13:00 and the entrances are controlled very tightly. First of all, you have to go around the back of the State Historical Museum and pay your bags for the escrow shop. Afterward, you pass the security controls and reach the module. The soldiers on the door constantly warn you to be silent by signing a song with your hand. As you walk in, Lenin lies in front of your eyes in a glass-covered coffin with your eyes closed as if you were dead before. Before I went to Russia, I read that Lenin's body was mummified, but I think I imagined a mummy wrapped in cloths like Egypt, I was very impressed to see him personally. The Russians have incredible love and respect for Lenin. After leaving the mausoleum, you are facing the Kremlin walled cemetery. Here are the tombs of famous Soviet leaders like Stalin and famous Russian scientists and statesmen around the world.

We decided to do a river tour so that we could open up a little bit after we were finished. I saw the Radisson Blues boat tours that departed from the Radisson Royal Hotel in Moscow tourist city guide. However, it took us about 3 hours to find the place where the boats were left, because the Russians do not speak English and all the plates are in Russian. When you are on the boat you can get to the Kievskaya metro station and get to the big shopping center where you can catch your breathing after passing through a park and walking for about 15 minutes. The price of turn is 900 rubles but we learned that it is a bit late if you have cheaper alternatives. The only difference is that the tours of these tours are not as luxurious as those of the Radisson Blu. The tours are available at 13:00 (Saturdays only), 15:00, 17:00 and 20:00. We were able to catch the orange at 17:00. I would recommend you to opt for the 20:00 orange because you will not see much in the night darkness. Drinking and catering were done in Teknemiz, all tanneries and sides were glass and a very luxurious boat. Despite all this luxury, the prices on the menu were not so expensive. The cafe, pub, club in Moscow, techno, house, club music that played everywhere at any moment without any discrimination did not leave us here either. Obviously, I'd rather travel with jazz or classical music instead of playing music. The club music is played in the club according to me, not in coffee shops or on boat trips in the river but there is no such difference for the Russians. The massive club in Antalya I can understand why it's done that. All for Russian tourists. If you have time to think about boat trips, I suggest you do it to see the entire city but do not think like a boat in Amsterdam or a gondola tour in Venice because you are on a straight river passing through the center of the city because there are no channels here. and you see the important places quite far. We realized that we were not in the city guide but in other places that we should not see because we did not go to the biggest tour with us, and then we had to go see this place later.

We went to theBoat tour our after finishing my every new travel the ritual on my route Hard Rock Cafe of Moscow's most famous street in order to realize my visit to Arbat Street. You can reach here by metro via Smolenskaya or Arbatskaya station. Many famous writers on Arbat Caddesi now have their houses opened to the public as museums. Many famous writers, poets, painters, and artists also lived on this street at the time. Arbat Street is not as beautiful as I thought it was. Even if we compare it with our Istiklal Caddemizz, he can not even approach us. It is an ordinary street both in terms of size and crowded and in terms of stores. However, you can also find the most souvenir shops and paintings by anonymous artists on the streets. And again, club music playing insJincafe. The Hard Rock Cafe here is made up of three big separate big cats, but I did not like the decor. I wish it was smaller but warmer. Inside, there are costumes, signed products, and Hard Rock Cafe's own Moscow-based products, all dressed in various concerts by world-famous artists outside the bar and restaurant.
I want to open a parenthesis in Moscow metros. I can say they have one of the best subway networks I've seen so far. But I would like to mention this is not a Paris. Besides that, metro stations and metro are very old but very fast. The subway movement causes almost no waiting at the frequency. The inner structure of the metro stations has a very elegant design and architecture from outside the standard view. A large majority of people are in constant chaos and crowds due to the use of metro at every moment of transportation.

We discovered that it is a tourist information center in Red Square when looking for the Bolshoy theater on the 4th day in Moscow. This is what the expression of finding the oasis in the rubble is.JIn the meantime, I would describe the place to not have the same feeling in you. After you crossed the Red Square and left the Resurrection Gate (Voskresenkie vorota), you are inside the large red building on your right, Moscow's Museum of War History. Here we went to the Bolshoi Theater, which is located on the opposite side of the island, after the English information. Unfortunately, we can not see the inside because you can see certain days of the week and only by joining the paid tour. The language of the tour is Russian and they want 500 rubles for 1 hour 45 min. It is quite absurd to us that this is how it is for the Bolshoi theater, even when you are free to visit the most famous opera house in Paris. After seeing the Bolshoi theater from the outside and taking a few photos, we called the Pushkin Museum.

Pushkin Museum opens every day of the week except Mondays between 10: 00-18: 00. I recommend you if you have a special interest in art and history, you will have a full day here because there are hundreds of works waiting to be seen inside. Previously, as I have seen in other museums here, unfortunately, stolen or illegally from Turkey and some eastern countries have brought a lot of historical artifacts were purchased in the figure. Our chances were exhibited in the museum of famous fashioners during the time we went. History and fashion all together!
After we left the museum, we visited the Cathedral of Christ the Redeemer, the most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen in Moscow. There was a ritual inside. For the first time, we came to an Orthodox ritual, we watched it with great curiosity until the end of the month. It was more flashy and a little creepy than the Catholic ritual. At the end of the ritual, Orthodox kissed all the sacred symbols as they kissed their hand in front of the priest who ruled the moon. The Cathedral of Christ the Redeemer was built by Alexander I in 1883 in honor of the triumph of the Russians against Napoleon, but since it was damaged during World War II, the reconstruction began and in 2000 the worship was opened again. Therefore, unlike other cathedrals in Moscow, it is quite new and charming. The cathedral also features the world's highest Orthodox Church at the same time.

Redeemer As we walked toward our hotel from the Redeemer's Cathedral, we stood in front of the Unknown Soldier Monument in front of the walls of the Kremlin. The fire in this monument, built in 1967 and awaiting soldiers permanently on both sides, is burning without any flare for all the Russians who died during World War II. After these moments of feeling a bit emotional and reminding us of the painful aspects of the war, we made up the capitalist plane again and entered the GUM shopping center on our way again. This is just a luxury shopping mall. before I came to Moscow, I had a Kvas beverage on my list of local tastes that I had not tried to return without trying. Kvass; The most consumed after the water of the Russians is a beverage made from rye bread and a drink with a very low alcohol content (1.44%). I honestly do not like the taste. Better like a sugar and an alcoholic. I prefer an ice cold Belgian beer instead.JAfter we leftGUM, we entered one of the cafés on the busy street where our hostel was located and drank the borrow soup. I insist that this soup is a Russian soup, but it was a soup belonging to Ukrainians. The worst thing after the club music about cafes and restaurants in Moscow is the free cigarette in all. Some have separate sections for non-smokers, but you do not want to sit here because there are usually some of the nicest corners of the room. Overall the cafes are pretty nice. For the first time, I've seen so beautiful, stylish and stylish cafes in a city and everywhere.

We decided to visit the grave of Nazim Hikmet, the giant man with blue eyes today. Nazım Hikmet's tomb is located in the Novodeviçi Cemetery, which hosts many famous tombs such as Tolstoy, Boris Yeltsin, Nikolay Gogol, Galina Ulanova. We are also proud that Nazım lies in a cemetery where the graves of these precious people are found. On the one hand, the value of a single Turkish nation did not think that the thought. You can reach the cemetery by going up and down the Sportivnaya station and turning right at the exit and following the flat signs. Do not confuse the monastery with the same name as the graveyard, or you will have to tame it before we can find the whole garden of the monastery as Nazim's grave. Go to the monastery es and continue down. Unfortunately, which shows where the grave is when you enter the cemetery! I have a list. In terms of being easy for you, I already say that the 175th burial place is Nazim's grave. In fact, when the tomb is in a fairly central location, you can see the pillar when you turn left. There are dozens of red carnations and flowers in front of you. We left our red carnations in the grave when we went to the graveyard. Nazım's tombstone is black and has his standing figure, inspired by the poem "Man walking on the wind". In front of you is my beloved Vera. Many of the tombstones in the cemetery are occupied by the person, the sculptures associated with their personal characteristics, or directly in the form of their own bust. The man feels himself not in the graveyard but in the sculpture gallery. This exile had a jolt of happiness to see that the man is still so loved. Maybe his homeland was forced to live in another country for years and even the grave could not be in his homeland, but at least he left nice poems for the next Turkish youth.

After we left the cemetery, we decided to shop a little while we were approaching the last daylight to distribute this gloomy air. First of all, we bought a lot of souvenirs. Of course, there were various types of materials that went well. There are also various post-modern magnets that describe the Soviet period. There are a lot of things in the country except for the classic girl figure we just know. They even made Atatürk's magic. As much as I was caricatured of Lenin and opened up through it, I liked the version of the other Soviet Russian leaders, and of course, I bought it. Do not forget to bargain while shopping.
Our next stop is the shops selling drinks. I did not come to Moscow, but I bought it with a honey-peppered vodka and a few more Russian vodka I often heard about in the past. I would say the feedback I received from my friends and I have a gift based on my own experience of Russian vodka and liquors that are much tougher than in Turkey, and a high percentage of alcohol. Do not overdo it when you are alone, you can take 3 shots yourself.
Vee is our last day. We ended up touring the last day because our plane was at 23:00 and we finished collecting our suitcases one night earlier. We checked out from our hostel and left our suitcases in the safe deposit boxes. Afterward, we walked again to see the Kremlin palace and visit the National History Museum. The Kremlin Palace is very large and has many cathedrals. You can not see every place in it because it is forbidden. Putin's office is here too, so very strict security measures have been taken. If you like, you can also see the royal treasures, but we did not visit because it was so expensive.

National History Museum so we went. Here in the table on the right side after the Kremlin, items you can see the old Russian way of life, old jewelry, archaeological sites, etc. things are there. I liked it very much. It's even more impressive than the inside of the building. After we got out of here, we took our suitcases and went to the historical Moscow metros. In Moscow, the metro cars were built in the Soviet period as a debt to the Germans, and even though the same metro is still used, they are well established and aesthetically pleasing. Huge glass hunts, wall paintings, etc. full of beautiful details.

Finally, we headed for the airport but there was excessive traffic. I would suggest you go out at least 3 hours in advance to go to the airport.
Moscow is a city that everyone should see at least once in your life and I would never recommend you to go in the winter. I hope that you have written about Moscow in a short time. Do Svidaniya!
